20160716 Our First SUV 2015 Acura RDX for $32k

Special day...

Day started off with a quick breakfast milk with honeybunches, Then tried to find the Coin laundry for the 3rd time.
Got to know that the Gulf laundry actually is a laundry machinery shop, So fed up and texted Katie to know the exact address.
Got no response So started calling Rakesh, Sashi to find out and discuss the car options today, as I saw email from LouSobh guys
confirming the deal for $28000 OTD that is for 2016 new Honda CRV EXL with navigation that has $890 accessories.
The second option is that, I got call from other dealer for confirming the lowest deal for 2015 Honda Accord Sport for $19000 OTD.
Rakesh said better to prefer CRV 2016,against Accord sport 2015 as we get new and Leather & Navigation.

Then I spoke to Sashi, who discussed other options when I said I would like some luxury option, Then he spoke about OffLeaseonly.com
options where we saw 2012 mdx for $22k and 2015 RDX tech for $27k, I felt 2015 RDX tech for $27k is great deal so wanted
to check in local dealer inventory, So first thing came to my mind was AcuraCarland and Griselda.
So checked Inventory and found one 2015 RDX with Tech package listed for $29850 which has 29.5k miles on it. Then we thought
if we can negotiate that for $29k(we were anyway about to pay $28k for 2016 CRV not a luxury one).
Thats how I made a call to Griselda while I am putting laundry in hotel common place.
Griselda called me back once she checked the inventory for the car I liked and told me to come and test drive soon as they have floods
of appointments, that was at 11.45am.  Then I rushed and got ready quickly and got the laundry out to room. No lunch and started to
AccuraCarland alone, and reached there by 1pm.

Met Griselda and soon got to Test drive the car, I offered $29k and quickly upped my offer to 30k for which she said there is
new management and they dont accept the offer and she can't present that offer, Later her two different manager spoke to me
and tried to convince me for $33k, for which I finally put an offer for $31.5 without a confirm/confidence as I couldn't discuss
the complete situation with Sashi/rakesh. They hooked me for $300 extra for nothing but just extra fee Oil change coupon.
So finally I okayed for $31800 OTD. Then it took more than couple of hours to check credit, lots of documents signing
and manager Ricks discussion about Dealer products/services of Complete coverage, Gap insurance, parts/labour warranty sergice etc, for
total of rougly $3000. I was completely not sure and overwhelming with handling all this alone and so wanted to wait on this part.
Even after signed half of the documents when he said any small issue today on the drive back home I need to pay all gap insurance etc.
Still.... I stood on the same word, dint subscriber to any dealer  service/products, I even had to speak to Nationwide
Insurance guys on getting the quote and adding it to the current policy for $78 monthly. Finally I left Dealer at 7.30pm
Those guys had to stay late, a hug and thank you to Griselda, I even had to ask very basic things to her, about controls for
vipers etc, as I was exhausted, alone and have to drive the new car back.

First drive should be special, But not that great as I am alone handling a huge thing, But I remember this drive home.
Picked up lucky at hotel went to Hanuman mandir(walmart to get coconut), and had Vahanapooja by Sriman, Felt good as he himself
did the pooja instead of other junior, Remember their funny conversation that ferrari pooja was done by junior and Sriman
couldn't see the car.
Me lucky felt good with pooja and when we tried to have picture taken our batter is just below %5, So no pic! :)
But lucky covered some pics of the car by then already :)

Went into temple, had darshan, lucky came to temple after 6 months. Spoke to sashi there, Met Mr.&mrs. sandhyarani(office mate)
Sashi and other temple friend was looking at the car and felt really great for its mint condition and great color luxury car,
King koduru's bro,wife and kid passing by and saw the new car and said it was great luxury car and his wife(the Basics grocery fame)
funny talk that she couldn't identify Acura the brand, kid was overwhelmed and thinking this to 7 seater MDX. Felt great
when people praising the looks and the luxury brand car.

Headed back to hotel, Got ninnu and mom downstairs to parking and saw the car, dark already 9pm, couple pics, and parked at backside.
Then sent the pic in whatsapp groups.... Fully tired, couldn't believe that did the one important thing of recent times.
I have also texted the fellow who wanted to have my convertible solara for $1500 cash, and also checked kbb market price
for detailed condition of my solara after dinner. Kind of convinced that I can sell the car for $1500 to that fellow.
